We would like to gut our master bathroom but keep plumbing in current location.
I have some questions about your interesting project:
1) how often do children take shower and tub in this bathroom?
2) please can you tell us measurements shown in the attached picture?
3) the small pillar shown in the photo can be demolished?
thank you very much!

1. My 3 year old is in the tub every day...if not twice a day.....she loves the water.
2. 20-inch, 71-inch
3. I am pretty sure it cannot. Those windows are like a window box (pic attached) so that column is essentially the corner of the house.
Many thanks for your questions!
We are very excited to see all of these creative professionals ideas!!!

I am excited to work on your master bath as I am an interior designer for a luxury home builder in Las Vegas. If you could give us an idea of what your budget might be, that would be great! As you want the plumbing to stay in the same location - what are your interests in adding a second sink and removing the vanity/ make up area? For resale, 2 sinks is a big draw. It should be too costly either since the plumber can tap into the adjacent sink - same concept as adding another shower head in the shower.

I apologize...shouldn't be too costly.... :)

Good Morning. My husband and I have been talking about this more and we will do the work ourselves with the help of my father in law (apart from plumbing and electrical) so I am thinking $10,000 and not to exceed $13,000. Is that reasonable??? We are new to this.
There are two sinks in that vanity and I am absolutely ok with eliminating the vanity/makeup area…I don't use it.
We just want the plumbing to stay in the general area they are currently located.

We are absolutely fed up with our original, dated, sad, builder grade master bathroom. We want to make it into a functional and a relaxing oasis. We may move after 5 years so we want to keep it somewhat neutral so we won't have to upgrade again for resale.
We have attached a document with our desires for our bathroom with inspiration pictures to spark your creativity...because we are seriously lacking in that department.
The winning design should be detailed and complete enough that a contractor can work off the plans. We are looking for:
Scaled floorplan drawing.
Wall Elevations to scale
Digital storyboard of items selected for project to help us visualize the design scheme and sources / links of items if applicable
