The room is divided into bedroom on one hand and walk-in closet and kitchenette on the other hand through a wall with a special finish (I suggested wood planking ). This wall can moved towards the bedroom if you feel that you need more space for the closet. Due to the fact that it does not intersect the exterior wall, offering a view to the kitchenette it suggests that there are spaces behind it and creates the image of a larger space. The only visible furniture in the kitchenette is the part with the sink, while the refrigerator, the microwave, the coffee machine are hidden behind the wall. In this way the room appears more simple and ordered. The lights for this area are behind the furniture which comprises the sink, oriented towards the inner side of the rood, offering indirect light.
The sleeping area with the bed is offered a more intimate imagine by hanging a drape from the ceiling toward the bed’s headboard. On both sides there are the night tables with individual wall lapms. I also created a space for reading or relaxing with a beanbag and a floor lamp.
The doors for bathroom and walk-in closet are hidden by using the same finish as the walls they belong to (white paint and wood). In this way the space is more unitary.
I proposed a lot of wood finishes as this material creates a warm atmosphere. Along with the low lights and lamps they give a sense of intimacy proper for a bedroom.
As you suggested I proposed a larger bathroom created from the space that belonged to the old one and the walk-in closet. There is a two sink vanity, a closed wc and a larger shower which if you prefer can be replaced with a bathtub. The door to the wc is a large mirror.
For the exterior terrace I proposed a covered relaxing area, while creating a sitting area underneath it at ground level.
I hope you will like it!
