It was a pleasure to work on the design of your soon-to-be-renovated new home! While it was a bit of a challenge to include four bedrooms, I believe I’ve created a design that you will love. I did take a few feet from your garage but, I’ve left plenty of room for two cars. The result is a very open, airy, modern space – perfect for today’s American lifestyle. While I created the new floor plan for you as you requested, I also went a step or two further and filled the rooms with furnishings, color, and art so you can visualize them as they might exist. You did not discuss color specifically but, I’ve added rich, contemporary colors to the entire space – just as a suggestion. I’ve also added many large, uninterrupted windows as well as skylights to flood the space with light. You have a master suite with its own en-suite bath as well as another full-sized bath with lots of storage and a powder room for dinner guests. You didn’t specifically ask for laundry facilities but, I’ve placed a full-sized, front loading washer and dryer behind the bi-fold doors in the second bathroom. Your dedicated, formal living room will be beautiful. I’ve placed some modern, representative furniture pieces in the room to give you an idea of the size of the space. I’ve added a modern, wall-hung, self-contained fireplace for ambience. I’ve left the main entrance to the living room open but, it could easily be closed off with, for instance, some French Doors if you think noise would be an issue. Lastly, you’ll notice that one of the bedrooms is pretty small. I have it set up in the renderings as a home office but, I’ve also included a loveseat sized sofa bed in the room for occasional guests. Of course, the dimensions of the other two secondary bedrooms could be adjusted to make this third secondary bedroom larger and, I’d be happy to make those adjustments should you choose my design. I look forward to the possibility of working with you further on your beautiful new home!
