I just a bought a house and needed help on interior design for three bedrooms. A masters bedroom, and two children's bedrooms.
I am posting some pictures and a sketchup file of the house for dimension and illustration purposes.
Originally when I bought the house the children's bedroom are separated. I just recently had the wall that separates the bedrooms knocked down.
The dimension of the rooms are 3.84m x 7.29m for the children's bedroom and 3.94m x 4.86 m for the masters bedroom.
The children's room are for my 4 years old son and 9 months baby boy. The smaller room will be for the baby. I tore the walls down so i can replace them with a cabinet wall and have a sliding door that acts as the children's room separator. So when the sliding door closes the rooms are totally separated but when the door slides out it dissapears (I will post a picture as illustration).
As for the master's bedroom I have made an illustration with sketchup how it would look like but just as an illustration.
The goal is to have spacious area with plenty of storage area for the master's bedroom. The design needs to be fresh and long lasting.
The children's bedroom needs to be fun and playful so that my 4 years old insist on sleeping in his own room. He now sleeps in our room.
The baby's room needs to be calming and soothing.
My wife like modern classic. I like danish midcentury furniture. We're not into minimalist design.
We will eventually execute the project as soon as competition completed.
we will hand the drawing to contractors and craftsmen. we will have all furniture items custom made.
I will be using a vertical size queen (mattres size 200cm x 150cm x 18cm) murphy's wall bed for the 4 years old. It will serve as a regular bed.
I will be using a horizontal size double (mattres size 200cm x 120cm x 18cm) wall bed for an extra bed in the baby's room. It will serve as a bed for the supervising adult.
My four years old son is very energetic. he is constantly in a move, jumping and running so please don't incorporate picture of action figures =).
I am really considering painting the window and doors in white.
I want to incorporate the tunnel design shown in the picture illustration.
For the master's bedroom. Please maximize the area of walk-in closet up to the ceiling.
Creative use of space.
Color selection in the children's room.
Creative combination in drawers, hangers and shelves.
