We have a large steel framed barn that is around 20m * 30m with a central roof point of 7m and a roof inclination (facing East & West) of 15 degrees.
The sides are flat as per the pictures.
The view to the East is pretty good - see www.fenbarns.com- for the actual view.
We would like to convert the space into:
a) a cafe on the ground floor with glass windows and a terrace with that view - ie: looking East - towards the view that you see at www.fenbarns.com
b) 2 holiday lets - each with a double bedroom (with ensuite) and a further bedroom with up to 3 beds (with ensuite)
c) a series of work studios (for artists & local craft makers)
If we just use the 20m * 15m 'East half' of the barn then we have a total space of around 420m2 ground area and a roof line going from 2.5m to 7m at 15 degrees.
There is huge scope for the project as other than a few internal steel beams the space is totally open.
We'd like to have some great views to the East.
Just want it very clean & simple & contemporary - see the ideas slides for some inspiration.
